It’s not enough to leave education with a trade or single skill set. You may have several careers. So rather than learn the skill or content, learn how to learn. Then you can adapt quickly to your next career.

Learning never ends.
Everyone learns differently , so teach them differently.
The rate of growth of information published requires you to find new and faster ways of learning [assuming you want to progress rather than stagnate].
You can learn faster, then faster still.
We are not even close to reaching the limits of how fast we can learn.

How can you be the best you?

People to look out for – Richard Bandler the genius who created the field of NLP. Howard Gardner who taught educators that asking the question “Are you intelligent?” is not as useful as asking “how are you intelligent?” when he offered the concept of multiple talents. Michael Breen, whose encyclopedic knowledge of the literal world and the occult worlds is extraordinary.
